On the ninth hole at the Augusta National Tiger wood hit something he wasn’t expecting while chipping a ball out of a pile of pine straw. He hit a tree root, which caused him a great deal of pain. Tiger says “my bone popped out of place and he had to snap it back into place”. Tiger still managed to make par on that hole. On the next whole Woods flinched when teeing off, finishing the 10th hole with a bogey.
Woods has dealt with several injuries throughout his career including a sore back and a torn Achilles. Woods finished five under in the tournament Sunday, saying that he was “happy with the game, but not be playing for a while”. Seeing the video footage from the contest Bruce Karatz can attest that Tiger will not be playing at his A game for a while yet.
This Saturday, December 13, 2014 will be the day when two welterweight kings collide. Trending on ofspirit.com now-Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley takes on top contender, Diego Chaves. Most boxing experts agree that this will be a tough fight for both combatants. Timothy Bradley is a masterful boxer, but he does have a tendency to brawl. He has shown this in a fight against Ruslan Provodnikov. Provodnikov is a heavy handed, brawling type of fighter. Timothy Bradley was knocked down several times in that fight. Bradley barely walked away as the champion, in fact, he was taken out of the building on a stretcher.
Diego Chaves is a good boxer, but he is a better slugger. The wild Argentinian must force a brawl with the proud American, Tim Bradley. This can easily be done. Both men come to fight, but it is widely believed that Chaves carries a K.O punch. Timothy Bradley will engage, but he does not bring a great deal of punching power. This should be a very interesting fight. Both fighters bring deadly weapons to this event. Bradley should box wisely and utilize his superior footwork. For the sake of Chaves, and the fans, let’s hope another war is in store for Desert Storm. For more information on the big fight visit, Yahoo! Sports.
